The 50-year-old father who drowned on Vilë Boshtovo beach today along with his 2 sons has been identified for the media. 

According to media information, it is known that the father, identified as Elvis Halilaj, 50 years old, with two minor sons from Tirana, 13 and 15 years old. 

The identity of the children will not be released due to their minor age.

It is learned that the victims were swimming in the sea, while the circumstances of how they drowned are still unknown.

The services of the Maritime Police Unit intervened to save them, but all three citizens died as a result of the sea currents.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
