The next day is expected to rain heavily, bringing the risk of flooding in some Albanian cities.

The Institute of Geosciences warns of flooding in several cities such as Lezha, Shkodra, Durres, Tirana, Vlora and Fieri. According to the forecast, Tirana and Fieri will have the highest rainfall intensity.

FLOOD RISK FORECAST

During the next day (Tuesday, the 29th) it is expected to rain with high intensity, which will be more concentrated in the north and south of the territory. In the districts of Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Fier and Vlorë there may be rapid floods of small mountain rivers and landslides. In urban areas, localized flooding problems may occur in these counties, depending on the condition of the sewers.
