Friends and relatives of Anonio Delilaj, the 17-year-old who tragically lost his life in the "Orange Club" in Saranda, have touched with their posts on social networks.

They dedicate heartfelt words to Antonio, whose dreams were cut in half in the flower of youth.

For them, Antonio was a lovable guy who loved his job.

"A lovely boy, he loved his work, always working hard for a better future. He would go to Tirana for studies, a good student in lessons, loving and full of humor."

Antonio's school in a Facebook post expresses its condolences to the family.

"Today was the saddest morning we have experienced. The tragic death of our student Antonio Delilaj has shocked us all, we cannot find words to describe the pain that has captured our souls. 9 years in our school, you grew up among us and you were that boy where with your calmness and smile you earned the respect of your friends and teachers, you were the child who knew how to forgive only love and understanding.

You started working early and proudly showed that you were now a responsible adult where you could finally help your family even a little. But fate was determined for you and unfortunately your dreams would be cut in between. We will all miss you, family, relatives, friends. May the good Antonio be in heaven! Condolences to the family from the pedagogical staff of the "Shefqet Sulejmani "Gjashte" school.

The serious incident happened in the early hours of the morning of August 26.

The 17-year-old waiter Antonio Delilaj lost his life in the "Orange Club" after he was taken down by the elevator, whose cable broke.

Lulëzim Allkushi, 43, was arrested in connection with the incident. The latter had installed the elevator that was mainly used for transporting goods.

The police declared the owner of the bar, Spiro Iliadhi, wanted. The 37-year-old is accused of violating the rules of protection at work and illegal employment.

In relation to the serious incident, the police stated on Saturday that the cause was the rupture of the elevator cable, which mainly served to transport materials for the supply of the bar.

While in the reaction of the State Inspectorate of Market Surveillance it was said that the device that suffered a defect was not an elevator, but a device adapted for the transport of goods by the subject, so even earlier there were no inspections by this institution.
