The 22nd day of the massive citizen protest against Edi Rama's government and the political class has begun in Tirana.

The protesters initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square and then headed down the boulevard towards the Prime Minister's Office building, where, as always, speeches are held before the march.

The 22nd protest takes place one day after the peak of diaspora mobilization and participation.

Yesterday's protest turned into Diaspora Day. Red and black flags dominated the boulevard, while thousands of Albanians from various European countries joined the march towards the Prime Minister's Office, giving the protest a new symbolic dimension.

On Saturday evening, there was also an incident with a group of masked protesters who desecrated the Israeli flag.

From the square, activist Arben Kola said that these are groups that have infiltrated each other, adding that they distance themselves from the action.

"There were infiltrated groups among us yesterday or the other day. Perhaps in the coming days we will come out with faces and names to unmask them. We distance ourselves and will make a statement," said Kola.
