Snowfall turned Dajti Mountain this weekend into a highly sought-after destination this Sunday for the citizens of Tirana, but not only.
The high demand to visit it has had immediate effects on traffic, with several axes of the capital being completely blocked.
The kilometer-long images of vehicles belong to Xhanfize Keko Street, continuing with the roundabout near the Institute of Public Health, Sotir Çaci Street and Shefqet Kuka Street, which connect to the Dajti area.
There was also chaos in the movement of vehicles on the Myslym Keta road, which connects to the Arbri road, where cars took more than 1 hour to cover several kilometers.
The blockage of these road segments also caused kilometer-long queues on the Grand Ring Road and its entrances/exits, where most of the vehicles were heading from Dajti Mountain.
