Librazhd-Bulqizë road covered in snow, hundreds of tourists stranded

The Librazhd-Bulqizë road axis, specifically the Zgosht-Çerenec Bridge segment, has been almost impassable this weekend due to snow and the lack of cleaning and salting interventions.

As a result, dozens of vehicles and hundreds of tourists traveling towards the Shebenik area have remained stranded for hours in the "Lunik Staircase" area.

The situation has caused traffic difficulties and safety concerns, raising alarm about the negative impact on mountain tourism, especially during a period with a high influx of visitors.

The intervention to open the road has come late from the municipality of Librazhd. We recall that this is one of the axes considered strategic for the development of the area.
