The Municipality of Vlora says that the situation in the Novoselë administrative unit is worsening as the hours pass, as a result of rising water levels, creating a danger for residents and properties in the area.

"The Municipality of Vlora, in cooperation with the responsible structures for civil emergencies, the National Civil Protection Agency and the Armed Forces, has engaged all necessary capacities on the ground and is fully prepared to assist residents, both in case of need for evacuation, and to take the necessary measures for the rescue and safety of livestock," the municipality's announcement states.

The municipality calls on residents to strictly follow the instructions of the structures on the ground and to avoid unnecessary movements in the endangered areas, until the situation normalizes.
