Journalist and publicist Arjan Konomi has reported that he clashed with bodyguards and police forces accompanying Prime Minister Edi Rama.
This Thursday, Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped for coffee in this village, and Konomi said that his escort had stayed in the area where citizens are prohibited from entering.
According to a statement he made on social media, Rama called him to clarify, but was faced with aggressive behavior from his wife Linda Rama.
Konomi then says he was escorted to the Himara police station where he was held for several hours.
"I just left the Himara police station after a confrontation with Edi Rama. "Mascara... take it away," Rama told the police.
No offense and no threats to his family, I simply asked the police why they weren't fining cars parked behind the stop sign, when just a few hours earlier they had fined the entire village and tourists.
"Of course, the car of the prime minister and his escort," Konomi writes, while also publishing a denunciation video.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, meanwhile, has put forward another version, while publishing the video of the clash.
He says the truth is completely different from what Konomi says.
According to Rama, the journalist has insulted his wife, Linda Rama, along with his son.
"FORTUNE, THERE IS ANOTHER VIDEO, which shows the complete opposite of the video that a violator of the freedom of others ran to show to the world, posing in front of his mirror as the violated victim, unleashing his fantasy and cursing like a madman a woman and a mother, whom he bullied along with her child in the middle of the street - where the event unfolded completely differently from the account in the mirror and was then spread on social channels as another big lie of the freedom-loving war against the imaginary regime.
"Fortunately, this time there is a video exposing the lie, just imagine how many other times lies wreak havoc on the truth in the mirrors where we remember being informed," Rama writes.
