In the press conference that Prime Minister Rama had with journalists, he said that the draft he has proposed for the association of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo is a contribution of Albania to bring the parties to the dialogue table.
"I don't take it upon myself to get in the middle of anyone, it's not my job. I have undertaken to contribute to the dialogue table. It is up to President Macron and Chancellor Scholz to decide," said Rama.
Rama also went on to say that none of the parties are working to solve the real problem and that the mayors of the municipalities in the North completed their mission and that now new elections must be held.
"Instead of the parties sitting down for dialogue, neither one nor the other is there to solve the real problem. I am not here to make comments about Albin Kurti, I supported him throughout the dialogue process, I supported him even when he was attacked as a traitor when he sat down with Vucic at the table, because this is the way to achieve mutual recognition that we are all fighting. While we are dealing with the police and 4 empty buildings, where the mayors have completed their mission, new elections should be announced immediately to calm the situation, the police should withdraw," said the prime minister.
Prime Minister Rama went on to say that what could happen in the North of Kosovo is very serious because, according to him, the allies are not being listened to.
"I don't call the allies 'international', they are the masters of the house in Kosovo like nowhere else, because they created that house. As long as that house is not fully known, then they are the vital lymph of that house. If they turn their backs, that house enters its darkest days. If the foreign troops will take the north of Kosovo, the issue will come back to the table after who knows how many years," said Rama.
According to Rama, association and mutual recognition is what Kosovo needs, the others are dangerous things that take the country back to the bronze age.
