Through a long post on social networks, he analyzes Greek diplomacy, saying that Greece for the first time declares Skenderbeu a national hero, as they chose to give this message for the National Day of Albania through the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias.

Shabani writes that at the time when Greece gives this message, Albanian diplomacy, the Albanian government, the Academy of Sciences and the historiography of socialist realism are silent.

The glory and name of Skanderbeg have been tried over the centuries and up to our days to appropriate many Balkan countries, claiming that it belongs to this or that other Balkan people. But it has never happened that a government of another Balkan state officially declares Skanderbeg the national hero of its state. For the first time, this is happening by the Greek government, which has now declared Skenderbeu a "Greek national hero".

On November 30, 2022, the official website of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the message of congratulations that the Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, sent to the Albanian ambassador in Athens on the occasion of the National Day of Albania. The text says in the message: "Skenderbeu is a national hero of our two countries".

Është hera e parë që Athina zyrtare, qeveria greke, shpall se Skënderbeu është hero kombëtar grek. Dendias ia transmeton qeverisë së Shqipërisë në rrugë diplomatike verdiktin e ri historik grek për Skënderbeun si qendrim zyrtar grek dhe si fakt të kryer. Diabolizmi diplomatik grek jo rastësisht ka zgjedhur Festën Kombëtare të Shqipërisë për ta njoftuar vendimin grek.

Ajo, që duhet të tërheqë vëmendjen, është fakti që pretendimin zyrtar e shpall shefi i diplomacisë greke, i cili në këtë rast nuk bën histori, por bën diplomaci. Qëllimisht është zgjedhur ministri i jashtëm të zyrtarizojë publikisht pretendimin se Skënderbeu është hero kombëtar grek. Nuk ka shpallur deri tani Greqia dhe qeveria greke se heroi kombëtar i Rusisë, heroi kombëtar i Serbisë apo heroi kombëtar i Bullgarisë është edhe hero kombëtar grek. Duke e thënë vetëm për Skënderbeun e Shqipërisë, ministri i jashtëm grek bën diplomaci me qitje të largët ndaj Shqipërisë. Diplomacia greke synon që t’i japë historisë së Shqipërisë, kombit shqiptar dhe heroit tonë kombëtar, statusin e pronësisë së përbashkët të të dy shteteve.

Diplomacia greke punon me strategji afatgjata në drejtim të Shqipërisë. Në sirtarin e saj ndodhet projekti i vjetër dhe i ri i aneksimit gradual të Shqipërisë, i formësuar qysh para shpalljes së pavarësisë së Shqipërisë me marrëveshjen e krijimit të federatës Greqi-Shqipëri të nënshkruar nga përfaqësues të të dy palëve në vitin 1907.

Greqia detin na e mori. Mori edhe Himarën. Tani na mori edhe Skënderbeun. Alarmi në Shqipëri duhet të jetë i madh. Nuk jemi para një lajthitje të një historiani apo të një rapsodi popullor grek. Është ministri i jashtëm grek, që e shpall qendrimin zyrtar se Skënderbeu është hero kombëtar grek. Ndërkaq hesht diplomacia shqiptare, hesht qeveria shqiptare, hesht Akademia e Shkencave dhe historiografia e realizmit socialist.
