Putin phone conversation with Vučić: Protests, foreign interference! We

During a phone conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić today, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the anti-government protests in Serbia are the result of foreign interference in Serbian domestic politics.

"Putin noted the inadmissibility of external interference in the internal political situation in Serbia and expressed his support for the actions of legally elected authorities," a statement from the Russian President's office said.

The Russian side also expressed solidarity with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Serbian media briefly reported, without revealing new details about the phone conversation.
