After his surrender, the police placed him under arrest to be brought to justice.

Kreshnik Farruku (Budlla) is a well-known name in the criminal world.

He was arrested in Spain in May 2019, after being wanted by Spanish and Italian authorities for cocaine trafficking.

In 2015, Kreshnik Farruku was assassinated in Albania.

He was in the company of his brother-in-law, Rinald Budlla, and two friends, when he was shot in the "Don Bosko" area, while a passerby was injured. The trail at that time was connected to the disruption of drug deals in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.


Several years ago, the Durrës Court imposed preventive seizure on assets totaling around 1 million euros in his ownership.

His name also recently appeared in Sky Ecc's wiretaps in the file of former MP Jurgis Çyrbja.

From the conversations transcribed by the Sky Ecc application, it emerged that the former MP was providing secret information to the wanted Kreshnik Budllas.

The thief informed him to check the surroundings of his apartment, as he had information that he might be under surveillance by Intelligence Service employees.
