Ilir Meta has arrived at the Special Prosecution Office premises from cell 313 through the tunnel connecting the prison with SPAK, where questioning by prosecutors regarding the CEZ/DIA affair and lobbying in the US has begun.

He has been summoned to SPAK in the presence of his defense attorney.

Meta will be questioned as a person under investigation, while yesterday his wife in divorce proceedings, Monika Kryemadhi, her mother, Fatime Kryemadhi, and close associate Ema Çoku were called to be questioned as persons under investigation.

Like Monika, her mother Fatime Kryemadhi and Ema Çoku have refused to speak to prosecutors.

The country's former president and the Prime Minister are under investigation for three criminal offenses, "corruption" in 3 cases, "money laundering" and "hiding assets".
