The Supreme Court has rejected the prosecution recourse for the case against two twin brothers Romeo and Donald Veshaj who are accused of committing an injury registered on February 7, 2013. The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Court of Appeals, sentencing probation service, rescuing the two actors from prison.

The Vlora Prosecutor's Office was dissatisfied with the decision of the Court of Appeals, requesting imprisonment for the two brothers, because one person was permanently injured, not only physically. However, her appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court.

Romeo and Donald Veshaj were investigated for the criminal offense of "intentional grievous bodily harm", committed in collaboration. The Court of First Instance in Vlora and the Court of Appeals sentenced the two brothers for grievous bodily harm intentionally committed in cooperation and sentenced them to 2 years in prison, but based on Article 59 of the Criminal Code ordered the suspension of the execution of imprisonment .

Donald and Romeo Veshaj, on February 7, 2013 near the high school in the neighborhood "Independence" of Vlora, as a result of a quarrel between several people, hit with strong tools Arjan L., a resident of the same neighborhood. The two Veshaj brothers were then students at Reald High School.

The cause of the quarrel was the harassment that the two brothers did to the fiancée of the citizen Arjan L. According to the file, at the time when the girl left school a car passed by her, shooting the tires and doing provocative actions, which disturbed Arjan and immediately the latter stopped the driver of the vehicle, who turned out to be Romeo Veshaj with whom he debated and then the two left.

the physical conflict occurred the next day. Arjan has been called by a group of people between them and Romeo and Donald. They first argued with him and then hit him all with hard objects. The most active in this event were the two defendants Romeo and Donald Veshaj. The persons who were in Arjan's company, enabled the end of the conflict and sent him to the civilian hospital for medical assistance.

This is considered a serious injury as there have been injuries considered permanent facial disfigurement.

"Specifically, he was found to have a fracture of the head bone, visible diving in the frontal region of the head, concussion of the middle degree. The above injuries were caused by strong sharpening tools and were classified as serious injuries as they brought permanent facial ugliness ", underlined in the file
