New details are learned from the tragedy in Shkodra, where a 3-year-old child lost his life while his 7-year-old sister is in critical condition in Tirana.

According to information from the Shkodra hospital, the 3-year-old child who passed away yesterday presented himself at the Shkodra regional hospital on Saturday at around 10:00 am in serious condition with cardiac insufficiency (low pulse, very low vital signs), and died 10 minutes after arriving at the hospital.

His sister then arrived at the Shkodra hospital with the same symptoms, where she was given first aid and immediately taken to the QSUT, where she is in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the health condition of the mother of two children, who is 37 weeks pregnant, is unknown, but has not shown up at the Shkodra hospital.

The family sent the boy to the hospital the day before, where they requested that he only be given a serum, although according to the hospital, the doctors asked to admit him for more specialized treatment.

The next day, the family showed up again, but this time with their two sick children. The son was in very serious condition and died immediately, while the daughter left for Tirana.

Doctors in Shkodra say that we are dealing with blood poisoning, while the tests have been sent to the toxicology department in Tirana, where investigations will be conducted.
