Former prosecutor Eugen Beci, who was invited yesterday to Zona Zero in Top News, raised a case that is becoming quite disturbing with the justice system in Albania.

Beci says that businessmen in Albania are being punished in the same way as officials who are thought to have misused their duties and not for the fault of the businessmen, but for the fault of the state and the contracts it signs. 

Beci gives an example of what he is saying.

" In Albania, more business will be done or not? In Albania, they are being punished more than the high officials or the same as the high officials, who are thought to have misused their duties.

But I have a question, in case a businessman needs to ask for money from state bodies…. (he has enough money to buy a tank) and requests permission from the police department to drive a military tank.

The Directorate gives permission to move with this military tank. Is it the fault of the businessman or the police? This is a problem that the court must evaluate, even in the way a person manages to conclude a contract with the state ", says Eugen Beci.
