He was transporting 17 illegal immigrants to the border, the 25-year-old man

A 25-year-old man from Tirana was put in handcuffs after he was caught red-handed transporting 17 immigrants from third countries for profit, with the aim of illegally crossing the border.

He was arrested on the "Korçë-Pogradec" road axis, near the village of Vërdovë, Pogradec, transporting 17 immigrants from third countries in the direction of Tirana, with an "Opel" type van, against profit, with the intention of illegal crossing of the border.

As material evidence, the vehicle in which the immigrants were being transported and a mobile phone were seized.
