Two Albanians and an Italian have been arrested by the Carabinieri in Pesaro, on charges of drug trafficking.
The detained Albanians are 25 years old and had traveled to Italy as tourists. During the search, 102 grams of cocaine were also found on them.
The drugs were found hidden in the driver's door of the vehicle they were driving. The value of the drugs, if all of them were sold in doses, would be 10 thousand euros.
Officers then searched the hotel room where the young men were staying, a "B&B" (Bed and Breakfast). In addition to the narcotics, 2,100 euros in cash were also seized.
In the chest of drawers there was another dose of cocaine and over 3 grams of hashish. The young men were isolated in prison cells in Villa Fastiggi. Both were ordered by the court to leave Pisa and Emilia Romagna after the end of the process, Italian media reports.
Also arrested during the operation was a 53-year-old Italian citizen known to be a repeat drug offender, who currently works as a bartender at a bar. He was caught selling another dose to a drug addict, while previously, in October of last year, he had been caught with 100 grams of marijuana. Other quantities of drugs, including hallucinogenic psychotropic substances, were also found on the Italian.
