An 18-year-old Albanian has died after an accident in Bologna, Italy, while another 19-year-old, also Albanian, was injured.

The two young men were attempting to escape from the police in a stolen car, but their escape ended in tragedy.

The Audi vehicle, which turned out to be stolen, crashed violently into a pole.

The accident occurred around 5:00 AM, when the two young men were fleeing from the police, who stopped them at a traffic light for a check.

But when the traffic light turned green, they sped away in a car.

The driver was a 19-year-old man who lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Via Murri and Via dei Lamponi due to high speed, colliding with a pole and then with several other parked cars.

Local police said they lost sight of the vehicle, which was traveling at over 200 km/h, and later found it in an accident.
