This Friday morning, the final farewell was given to 42-year-old Bardhyl Kaloshi, who tragically lost his life the morning of the previous day on "Mujo Ulqinaku" street near the Durrës stadium.

The father of three was driving on this road and, in an attempt to cross the flooded road, was caught in the lighting pole you see in the video below, and due to the electricity he lost his life.

"Around 07:15, in neighborhood no. 6, Durrës, citizen BK, 43 years old, is suspected of having come into contact with electricity and consequently lost his life," the police announced a day ago.

Off-camera, businesses in the area stated that they had notified authorities a few days ago about the danger posed by the pole in question, as recent rains had turned it into an electrical conductor and could become a potential danger to anyone.

Tragically, the 42-year-old man lost his life there. Although several passersby approached him to help, it was impossible because they also risked losing their lives from contact with the electric current.

The video shows the moment when the 42-year-old man falls to the ground and anyone who approaches and touches him immediately moves away due to contact with electricity.


The body of the father of three remained at the scene for more than an hour and only then was he removed from there.

By the entire community of the area, Bardhyl Kaloshi was known as a very hardworking, untiring man and a good family man.

The prosecution launched its investigation on Thursday, immediately after cordoning off the scene with security tape. It is expected that the investigation into the case will shed light on the entire dynamics of the tragic event.
