A  26-year-old man  was criminally prosecuted after he was caught at the Kakavija border with undeclared 24,800 euros.

The young man with the initials ST, was leaving the country, but during a check in the second line, the amount of money was found in his bag. According to the police, he was trying to take them out of our country, without declaring them as required by law.

Following the procedural actions, the amount of money was seized and the proceedings started in free status for the 26-year-old, resident of Terihat , Dropull .

As a result of detailed controls by the Border Police services, a case of non-declaration of funds is discovered.

24,800 euros are seized, the 26-year-old man who did not declare it at the exit of the RSh is prosecuted.

As a result of the maximum commitment of the border police services of PKK Kakavije, for the prevention and attack of border crimes, in addition to the work to provide a quality and ethical service to citizens entering/exiting, another case of non-declaration of money has been hit.

Based on the risk analysis, upon exiting the country, ST citizen ST was passed for control in the second line, in whose bag 24,800 euros were found that he was trying to take out of our country, without declaring it as the law defines it.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the amount of money was seized and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the SP citizen, 26 years old, resident in Terihat, Dropull.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border ".
