Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha has shown what exactly Ilir Meta is being investigated for in the 600 million euro affair known as "CEZ-DIA".

According to journalist Hoxha, it is about a voluminous file with number 55 for which the investigations started in July 2019 and was investigated by the current head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.

According to the journalist Hoxha, there are several episodes in this affair that is considered the greatest for the damage it has done to the Albanian state, but Meta is suspected of the influence he exercised in the Czech Republic so that the company of his close man Kastriot Ismailaj had the meeting of CEZ debts.

The damage amounts to 600 million euros. It is a story that has also had a parliamentary investigative commission, and at that time the material was taken to the prosecutor's office. It is the issue with the biggest financial damage that has been caused to the Albanian state. All parties are inside. CEZ agreed with an Albanian company to collect the debts that is DIA, and the third part is the moment when it was renegotiated by the Albanian government, Edi Rama-Meta. In the case where it was renegotiated for the Czech company to waive arbitration and Albania to take back the distribution company which is now OSHEE.

So far, the only person tried in this story is the owner of DIA, Kastriot Ismailaj, who spent 10 years in prison and had 5 million euros confiscated. He turns out to be close to Mr. Meta since before this case. This matter has been investigated several times and has been closed.
