A 55-year-old man from Tirana, identified as Asllan Meçaj, was presented at the Vlora Hospital for medical assistance, after being diagnosed with a trauma to the back of the head.

The 55-year-old man came from Himara, while he is conscious.

It is learned that the 55-year-old man was injured by a punch from a 23-year-old man in Dhërmi. The young man left in an unknown direction and efforts are being made to arrest him.

"Himare/Preliminary information: Today, around 15:50, at the place called "Crossroads of the Camp", in Dhërmi, it is suspected that after a conflict for weak motives, the citizen HL, 23 years old, punched, seriously injured in the head, citizen AM, 55 years old, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors. The control of the area continues for the capture of the suspected author of the event. The investigative group is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," Vlora police announced.
