More than 20 policemen from the Directorate of Korça and the Border are

More than 20 employees of the Korçë police department and the Border and Migration department are being prosecuted and suspended from their duties.

According to sources from the prosecutor's office, police officers are accused of abusing funds in terms of per diems, services, other Frontex service expenses and falsifying documents.

The investigation is extended to the period 2020-2024 and according to sources the financial abuse captures a significant value.

15 other employees are also being investigated at large, reports journalist Lorena Kodra.
