Laert Haxhiu
Laert Haxhiu is extradited today to Albania. With numerous police forces, Haxhiu is expected to be transported through the Kakavijë border crossing point to our country.
Laert Haxhiu was arrested in May 2023 in Greece and was held in Koridhalos prison.
The latter was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Special Court in April of this year, for what has been described as the "Lushnje Massacre", an event recorded in 2017, where two people were killed and two more injured.
Specifically, Zamir Latifi and Jurgen Hoxha remained victims and Marjus Xhepexhiu and Bujar Turku were injured.
Anterio Kaloshi and Orgest Bilbili were sentenced to life imprisonment for the same incident.
