Suffered boat breakdown, Border Police rescue 3 people in Velipojë

The Border Police came to the aid of 3 citizens who suffered a breakdown in their boat at sea and risked drowning. 

The incident occurred in Velipoja.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the vessel was being driven by citizen IH, who was unable to continue sailing due to a technical defect. There were also two other citizens on board.

To guarantee the safety of the people on board and to avoid any possible danger, the Border Police services towed the vessel to shore.

The three citizens were assisted by Border Police officers and transported safely to the ground, without health problems or physical injuries.

After the rescue operation was completed, the vessel was brought ashore. The verifications carried out showed that the vessel's documentation was in order.
