Students and staff at the private college " Turgut Ozal " experienced moments of panic after a bomb alarm was reported.

Engineer forces arrived at the school premises to verify where the bomb was located, while students and staff were evacuated from the college premises.

The State Police has issued an official statement clarifying that this is a false alarm.

There was an e-mail written in English stating that a bomb had been placed on the school premises, which would explode in 43 minutes.

"We inform you that an email has been sent to the school and that the students need to leave for home. We are cooperating with the police. There is no panic and all the children are very well! The children will be transported by van or by the parents if possible. We will stay in touch. The teacher in charge," reads the message sent to parents by the staff of the "Turgut Ozal" College.

Following this email, the police were notified, who, together with the Anti-Explosive Unit, immediately went to the scene where they evacuated the students and school staff.

After checking the entire college environment, it turned out to be a false alarm.

On 21.02.2025, at around 11:30, a notification was received that an e-mail written in English had arrived at the address of a private school in the Misto-Mame area, stating that a bomb had been placed on the school premises, which would explode in 43 minutes.

Police services and the Anti-Explosive Unit immediately went to the scene where they evacuated the students and school staff.

The relevant checks and verifications continue to be carried out if the notification is false.

Police services, Anti-Terror structures in cooperation with Cyber ​​Crime Investigation specialists are working to clarify the circumstances and identify the perpetrators.
