The former head of the Albanian Road Authority, Dashamir Xhika, appeared today at the Special Prosecution Office.

After leaving SPAK, in a statement to the media, he stated that
his summons by the special prosecutors had no connection to the Tirana-Elbasan road axis.

"This is about a procedure carried out at the time when I was the director of the ARA", he told reporters.
Xhika explained that it was about a procedure that had little to do with the ARA but with the Ministry of Justice.
