Laert Haxhiu, a person of high social risk, rival of Aldo Bares, has been arrested by the Greek police with the aim of extraditing him to Albania.

The 31-year-old, born in Lushnja, was arrested in Ioannina by the Greek police and had with him a forged Greek residence permit in the name of Mikis Askalidis, 32, born in Georgia.

The Lushnjë Judicial District Court, in 2017, convicted Laert Haxhiu for the criminal offenses "Murder in qualifying circumstances", remaining in the attempt and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

But who are Laert Haxhiu and Orges Bilbili? 'Spiderman who broke his leg to escape the police

Two characters known to the Albanian law enforcement authorities. Involved in murder, injury, drug trafficking and threats, Laert Haxhiu is accused of murdering Gerti Lala, one of the members of Aldo Bare's gang.

The event happened on July 8, 2010, and for this crime, Haxhiu was sentenced to 32 years in prison, but the Court of Appeal decided to release him for lack of evidence, and in 2015 he won in front of justice. But the period of peace for Haxhiu would last very little.

After being released from prison in late 2014, he was arrested in June 2015 after 1.2 kilograms of heroin was seized from his car.

Haxhiu's courage was not lacking, since during the operation to capture him, he tried to escape from a wall, where he also broke his leg.

Pasi u kap, Haxhiu tha në Polici se mendonte se e ndiqnin njerëzit e Aldo Bares, por sërish ai ia doli për të qenë i lirë, pasi gjykata e Durrësit, e dënoi vetëm me 17 muaj burg.

Po ashtu, Orges Bilbili dhe Laert Haxhiu, janë të dyshuar edhe për atentatin ndaj nipit të Aldo Bares, Xhulio Shkurtit, ku u plagos edhe Sajmo Xhelili.

Në çdo informacion që merrej për ta, Policia e Shtetit ishte në këmbë për të kapur 2 të shumë kërkuarit.

Madje në shtator të vitit 2018, Reparti RENEA dhe ai i FNSH ndërmorën një operacion për kapjen e Laert Haxhiut dhe Orges Bilbilit në fshatin Rremas në Divjakë, pasi dyshuan se fshiheshin aty.

Operacioni jo vetëm që dështoi, por RENEA plagosi një të moshuar, i cili kishte dalë në dritare për të parë se çfarë po ndodhte.

Nëse për Haxhiun u angazhuan dy Polici të vendeve të ndryshme për ta prangosur, por Orges Bilbili u arrestua nga rastësia në prill të vitit 2020, kur i gjithë vendi ishte në shtetrrethim prej pandemisë së koronavirusit. 

Bilbili ndodhej në zonën e Xhamllikut ku po lëvizte me këmbë kur është pikasur nga polici i Shqiponjave. Bilbili i tha policit se do e qëllonte dhe i drejtoi armën.

Në këtë moment, polici pasi e ndoqi me vrap dhe e paralajmëroi derisa më pas e qëlloi në këmbë duke mundësuar kapjen e tij. 

Historia e bandës së Lushnjes

Pikënisje e përplasjeve të përgjakshme mes bandave në Lushnje, ishte vrasja e Ramadan Shkurtit, vëllai i Alfred Shkurtit (Aldo Bares), deri atëherë efektiv i Forcave RENEA.

Aldo Bare takes revenge on Artur Daja, who after executing him cuts off his head and kicks him in the streets of the city of Lushnje.
