The SPAK operation was deconstructed? AMP launches investigation for information
SPAK and RENEA

The Police Surveillance Agency informs that it has launched investigations to verify whether or not there was a leak of information during the "Golden bullet" operation where SPAK issued 32 arrest warrants for characters from the underworld, but only 9 of them were arrested, after 9 others were in the cell, while 14 are still at large.

There are strong suspicions that the SPAK operation may have been deconstructed after the "heads" of the crime such as Ervis Martinaj, Suel Çela, Talo Çela, Eljo Bitri, Kamer Mehja, Florenc Çapja, etc. managed to escape from the handcuffs.

AMP states that it will investigate with the utmost seriousness any suspicion of possible leakage of information by police officers, as well as any involvement, if any, in illegal activities.

The Police Oversight Agency (AMP) is verifying any suspicion if there has been a leak of information, during the operation conducted by the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime and the State Police, in the framework of criminal proceedings no. 75/2022, through who were assigned and executed the personal security measures of the coercive character "Prison arrest" for 32 citizens, among them a police officer.

At the end of this operation, the Police Oversight Agency assures the public and the media that it will investigate with the utmost seriousness any suspicion of possible leakage of information by police officers, as well as any involvement, if any, in illegal activities.

"AMP remains committed to its mission to ensure the implementation of the law and invites citizens to report any case of abuse or violation of the law by State Police employees, by calling the green number 0800 9090. " AMP.
