Citizen protest in Tirana continues, nationwide rally announced for the weekend

After several hours of rallying in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters have begun marching through the streets of Tirana.

After several hours of protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, citizens participating in what is now known internationally as the "Flamingo Revolution" have begun their 17th day march through the streets of the capital.

One of the organizers of the protest, Arben Kola, made public the itinerary that will be followed during the evening.

According to him, the march will pass through the Taiwan area, then towards the Tirana Municipality and Parliament, where a symbolic five-minute stop is planned.

The protesters will then continue towards the "Kosova" School and the House of Europe, where there will be another short stop, before returning to the Prime Minister's Office.

A nationwide protest is expected to take place this weekend, dedicated to the diaspora or those who left Albania and their desire to return to their homeland.
