A relative of the family where the serious incident took place in Shkodër has provided details regarding the murder of 55-year-old Bardhe Ziçi. Zoje Nika states that this is a serious incident and that everyone in the neighborhood had respect for the married couple. She stated, among other things, that the couple got along very well and that they had no conflicts.

"There was never any bad thing from this guy. Never, I don't know how he would have treated us, but he was good, honest, I went with him in the car, he came back, we had our good times. A very good man. Even the woman, no one in this whole neighborhood has a bad word to say to that woman."

"I have a lot of respect for this woman too, because she was a woman, a wise person, with our best interests at heart. Poor children. Never a debate! I've been there many times, and there have never been any debates in my life, only things going well," she told Euronews Albania.

Another relative of the couple spoke through tears and told local media that both husband and wife were peaceful people. According to her, none of the family members or neighbors in the neighborhood were aware of any conflicts they might have had.

"We were shocked. We didn't know anything about any conflict. Bardhe Ziçi was a rare woman. To our knowledge, they were a regular family, without quarrels. They were parents of two children and lived alone in the apartment.

"Stefni was also a good and honest man. We traveled by car with him. We never heard a bad word from him. We are very sorry that this family ended like this," she said.
