Today marks one year since the passing of former Democratic Party MP, Gerti Bogdani, due to cardiac arrest.

Activist Edlira Çepani commemorated her husband through a post on social media, writing that this year has seemed like an eternity.

"1 year without you Gert! It seems like an eternity, but it also seems like it was yesterday that you gave us your last hug... Every day and every year without you will seem like an eternity," Çepani writes.

Edlira further writes that she, her children, family and friends will continue his mission.

"We will hold high all the values ​​and causes you fought so hard for, as long as we have you! We love you endlessly and will miss you every day, until the day we meet again, our light," she wrote.

Among other things, the post also includes a message from their two children, writing: "We love you, Dad! You will always be our rock! We will always be the "Fantastic Four" and we know you are still smiling down on us from heaven!"
