A serious incident occurred today in the village of Rrilë, in Lezha, where an OSHEE employee lost his life while performing his duty.

According to police information, 27-year-old electrician MP came into contact with electricity while working to repair a defect, suffering fatal injuries.

The victim's neighbor, Alfons Tashaj, recounted the circumstances of the incident and the conditions in which the young man was working.

According to him, the 27-year-old had been working as an electrician for about a year and a half, after graduating from school. He was described as a hardworking guy and dedicated to the community.

"He had been working as an electrician for about a year and a half and had finished school. He was a very hardworking and intelligent boy and was at the service of the residents who sacrificed his life to make a repair in the electricity."

Mark was called by OSHEE today because they were having problems in Barbollaj, and he went to the transformer near the Rila substation, 30 meters from the electrical substation where the power is cut off for employees to work. According to the statements, he climbed into the transformer while there was electricity.

"This is not the first case that has happened in Lezha because there have been other cases where the competent authorities have released the power. Mark worked in very difficult and unconditional conditions," said Mark Prenga's neighbor.
