Hundreds of residents of Rrjoll have been defending their land for weeks, opposing the construction of a resort that they say violates their property rights.

So far, surprisingly, the Socialists have done well, but none of the Democratic MPs have been able to support them.

And this is due to Berisha's connections with businessman Bashkim Ulaj, who is building the resort in question.

The well-known Shkodra professor Romeo Gurakuqi, who was also a DP MP for one term, reacted sharply to them.

The State Police, by law, serves only public interests and these interests begin with the citizen, life, family and property. In no case, in a European country, does the work of the police begin with the protection of the strong, the occupiers and those who suddenly appear out of nowhere. The Director General of the State Police, Mr. Proda, bears direct responsibility for respecting the law, impartiality, preliminary investigation of documentation, sending educated institutional representatives who know how to respect the ethics of civic communication. Otherwise, sending militant, gegophobic and fanatical monsters to violate a community that has suffered for centuries from emperors, satraps, dictators and modern corruptors is a fact that cannot be accepted and overlooked with oblivion, neither by law enforcement authorities, nor by the Ombudsman, Mr. Endri Shabani.

The same can be said for the deputies of Shkodra, of the three parliamentary parties: your silence is regrettable; it is a misery in the exercise of the public function that for you begins with the citizen, which you have left in the hands of chance and the flow of underground balances, as in Theth. In the protection of the citizen, there is no party and party leader who can command you; there are no precautions to protect yourself from the whims of obscure commands; the oath on the Constitution obliges you, without hesitation and with self-denial, to protect the civil rights that are the first in public interests. You have a model of behavior from the deputy of Pogradec, Erald Kapri who comes from Toskeria to protect the Geg mountaineers of Shkodra, because duty, national conscience calls him; because he knows that the trust of the First is sacred and inviolable; because the ancestral ground of resistance, defense of identity and family is inviolable.

A call goes out to the Albanian government to stop the flood of Trusts created by yesterday's nobodies, today's violators, pretenders to be tomorrow's rulers:
