High-pitched debates accompanied the next session in the "Golden Bullet" trial, where SPAK prosecutor Behar Dibra and defendant Altin Ndoci's lawyer Elda Zotaj clashed fiercely.
Altin Ndoci, who is under indictment and has been a fugitive since January, is represented in the process by legal defense.
The clash began after the defense's claims that the prosecution has concealed evidence related to the case.
Prosecutor Behar Dibra rejected the charges, stating in the courtroom:
"The claim and statement that you say we have hidden evidence is not true. There is no hiding of evidence. If it has not been brought, we will bring it."
But lawyer Elda Zotaj reacted harshly, insisting that the evidence has not been made fully available to the defense.
"You hid it. Why don't you bring the evidence? Or are you afraid that you're inside? If you have nothing to hide, bring the evidence!", she said during the debate in the hall.
The tension between the parties forced the trial panel to intervene to restore calm and continue the proceedings. After the debates, the court decided to adjourn the session and postpone the process to March 3, when the examination of the evidence and the parties' requests is expected to continue.
The "Golden Bullet" case remains one of the most prosecuted criminal trials, due to the serious charges and the large number of defendants involved in the case.
