The illegal crossing of many Albanians from Albania to England has set the Albanian police in motion, which has launched a general investigation.

The Criminal Police and the anti-trafficking office have based the investigation mainly on the materials given to them by the British partners regarding the identities of the people they have discovered as part of the network that carries out the smuggling for payment ranging from 3 to 20 thousand pounds.

But despite the fact that for months on the Tik Tok social network, videos of Albanians with voice and image have been circulating that advertise this illegal business by publishing concrete data regarding payments, locations and other details, the Albanian police have not opened an investigation into them. Despite the fact that the network of Albanian smugglers is out in the open, the Albanian police have depended their investigations only on the data provided by Britain.

TCH learns that Unit C, which deals with computer crimes, has no investigation regarding these videos that openly advertise the smuggling of Albanian citizens. These addresses have not been verified by this sector to see who owns them or to identify the persons appearing in the video.

On Tik Tok there are over 20 addresses that periodically post videos of Albanians sailing towards England in rafts such as Calais Dover, Baca, Official Albanian, Road to England, Raft 4000, etc., who continue their activity undisturbed by the Albanian police. Contacted by TCH, the Tik Tok social network said that it prohibits the publication of such posts with a pure criminal background.

The transport of Albanians starts from Albania with the destination of Brussels in Belgium, to then go to France, from where they cross the English Channel by dinghy, arriving at the final destination which is England.
