The Municipality of Has, in coordination with the General Director of Civil Emergencies, have granted monetary and material aid to the Lushi family, due to the tragedy that occurred two days ago, where a mother and son lost their lives in a fire.

While expressing his condolences for the tragic death of Fatima and Rexh Lushi, Mayor Has Miftar Dauti also declared the monetary amount of the aid offered.

"It was a very serious event. When the incident happened, I was at the scene at 02:05. We tried with all means to extinguish the fire, but it was impossible. Last night we brought aid from Civil Emergencies to the family, for the two victims we will give 500 thousand new ALL. As a municipality, we have also undertaken the removal of funeral expenses.

It was a tragedy because both mother and son were burned, seeing people being burned in the fire and having nothing to do, it was a disaster. My condolences to the family, stay strong, life goes on. The real cause is not yet known, but I say it was from an electric spark or from a forgotten heating resistor" , said Miftar Dauti.

On September 19, a mother and son lost their lives after their apartment was engulfed in flames in the village of Nikolic in Has.
