Dodë Rica has been arrested by the Durrës police after being accused of human trafficking. The 47-year-old, born in Mirdita, turns out to be the owner of the network of night clubs in Albania and Kosovo, "Strip Club Shqiponja".

He was wanted for being accused of human trafficking. The owner of the strip club "Shqiponja" since 2019 has been under investigation by the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo for various criminal offenses, including tax evasion.

According to what the Kosovar media reported earlier, Rica is suspected of having committed tax evasion in the amount of 36 thousand and 389 euros. Based on the register of businesses in Kosovo, he has 5 business units open, one in Pristina and 4 others in Gjakovë.

Rica's name is also mentioned in 2018 as she tried to open a strip club in the basement of the Grand Hotel in Pristina.

"During the time period 02.11.2017 to 21.03.2019, through the business "Shqiponja Stript Club" Sh.pk, with headquarters on "Konjuhi" street in Graçanicë, the above-mentioned defendant, with the purpose of partially or completely hiding or avoiding of tax payment, which is foreseen according to the Law on Tax Administration and Procedures (Law No. 03/L-222), sanctioned according to article 63 par.1, giving false records regarding the income of his businesses "Shqiponja Stript Club" Sh.pk, in order to cause the avoidance of legal consequences or possible legal consequences, damaging the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo with the total amount of 36,389.24 euros, on behalf of the aforementioned business", it was stated in Rica's file of published two years ago by Gazeta Insider.

Rica, was recently arrested in district no. 13 of the coastal city, Durrës, with the intention of extraditing him to Kosovo.

The Basic Court of Pristina had earlier assigned the measure of "arrest in prison" to this citizen as he is accused of the criminal offense of "Trafficking in persons".

Accused in Kosovo of human trafficking, the 47-year-old owner of a nightclub in Prishtina is being handcuffed in district no. 13, with the aim of extradition.

As part of the mega-operation "Rule of Law", as well as as a result of information provided by police intelligence and exchanged between Interpol Tirana and law enforcement agencies in Kosovo, the Special Operational Force and the Anti-Trafficking Section of DVP Durrës, caught in the district no. .13 and put in handcuffs, with the aim of extraditing to Kosovo, the citizen declared internationally wanted DR, 47 years old, born in Mirdita.

The Basic Court of Pristina has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking in persons".

Interpol Tirana is collaborating with law enforcement agencies in Kosovo to finalize the extradition of the DR citizen.
