Renowned actor, director and playwright, Naun Shundi, will depart today for Albania, where he will receive treatment at the QSUT.
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture, through an official response yesterday, have guaranteed the actor's medical treatment.
His family has opened a Gofoundme account to raise the amount of money needed for treatment.
His daughter, Rea Shundim, who took the initiative, reveals that her father suffers from a serious illness, skin cancer.
"Today we leave for Albania, with the thought and desire to start the treatment. There are many unknowns, since the disease itself, the situation, the possibilities, are unpredictable. So, friends, colleagues, well-wishers, you who have eased our problem with your contributions, as well as your moral support, you who were and are with us in this fight with life, we tell you that nothing is clear. The entire treatment can be continued at the QSUT, but it may also happen that there are no possibilities for its implementation. This will be seen depending on the progress, possibilities and TIME. Which conditioned us to not be accepted into the complicated system of the French health bureaucracy, added to this and the dizzying costs. If things go well at the QSUT, we are calm. If not.. other challenges await us.
Thanking you, we would like to embrace you all with great gratitude!", writes Corporal 'Zonja e Bujtinës' in a post on social networks.
