Former President of Albania, Rexhep Meidani, has reacted to the passing of Fatos Nano.

In a Facebook post, while expressing condolences to the family, he writes that Nano left power and politics with dignity.

"Farewell Fatos Nano, colleague of the transition. You retired with dignity and quickly from power and politics, but, unfortunately, you left society and life prematurely. Condolences to the family!", writes Meidani.
