The former prosecutor of Durrës, Arjan Ndoji , elected as a DP deputy from the open list of Durrës in the May 11 elections, testified today at the GJKKO in the trial of Plaurent Dervishaj extradited from Dubai.

After showing that the shooting at the vehicle in which he was traveling together with the driver Andi Maloku , who lost his life, and Aleksandër Lahon ( known as Rrumi i Shijakut ) lasted about 10 seconds while dozens of bullets were fired at them, Ndoji would face Plaurent Dervishaj directly.

During the session, SPAK representatives also asked the former prosecutor about his connection with former MP Halit Valteri.

 " I know him as a public figure ," said Ndoja.

"I even greeted him today. He published a video in the Parliament, where according to him they are the authors of the assassination attempt on me. I don't know if they are really them, I have no idea. I also asked Basir Meçe, the father of Julian Meçe who is a defendant in this process. I said: 'Is this true? It's very serious. Do I owe you anything? You have a son, take him and take him out of Albania. If he is connected to that other guy, he is simply a soldier.'"

At this moment, defendant Plarent Dervishaj intervened from the courtroom, asking Ndoja: "Address me by name!"

Courtroom debates:

Arjan Ndoj:  Regarding the file found in my car when we were shot, I was questioned at SPAK. They are materials that belonged to a lawyer, I have nothing to do with those files.

Plaurent Dervishaj:  Your assassination is political, you said that maybe I received the assassination from Erion Braçe, since you are saying maybe it was political.

Arjan Ndoj:  I have received a lot of information about you, but I am not convinced, if I owe you something and you think I owe it to you. You think that if you have a hand in your assassination, I will forgive you.

Julian Meçaj : When you received the anonymous letters about the events, you were a prosecutor, why didn't you hand the letters over to the prosecutor's office?

Arjan Ndoj:  No.

Prosecutor:  Do you think that the statements of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister influenced your assassination?

Arjan Ndoj:  I don't know!

Meçaj's lawyer : How do you repay the debt you mentioned?

Julian Meçaj:  You are a zero in the entire north, you have cut the wool of the traffickers. I owe you, how will you repay me?

Plaurent Dervishaj:  You owe me, how are you going to repay me?

Arjan Ndoj:  Tell me what debt, I'll tell you how I'll repay it.

Plaurent Dervishaj:  Next time, bring us a gynecologist to check us, are we men or not. I don't mention names outside, I mentioned them here in the courtroom. In prison, I am not nameless.
