Albania will be a shareholder in the tourist resort to be built in Sazan by Jared Kushner. The company that will represent the state in this project has already been created and on June 26 was registered at the National Business Center under the name 'Albanian State Development & Real Estate' shortly after Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump visited Vlora. 

The company's registration extract states that: "This company must ensure the responsible management, development and administration of real estate owned, used or under the management responsibility of the company, maximizing their value and guaranteeing optimal use; Participation as a representative of the state - in partnerships or strategic investments, as well as in any case determined by decision of the company's bodies, related to the investment project "Tourist Resort - Sazan Island" or any other authorized project of AIC".

Likewise, 'Albanian State Development & Real Estate' will have the right to plan, design and implement important construction projects focusing on urban development. Its essential function will also be the monitoring of contracts related to the Sazan project. "Monitoring contracts concluded between AIC and third parties in the field of development, management and administration of real estate, related to the investment project "Sazan Island Tourist Resort" or any other authorized project of AIC. Investing, managing or benefiting from the rights from the development of real estate in the ownership, use or management responsibility of the company, as well as exercising all activities related to or complementing, directly or indirectly, the above activity related to the investment project "Sazan Island Tourist Resort" or any other authorized project of AIC. Cooperation with other companies, enterprises, agencies and ventures, which may have a similar object of activity," the documents state.

The sole shareholder of the Company is the Albanian Investment Corporation (also known by its English acronym Albanian Investment Corporation/AIC). The capital of the company is 50 million lek, owned 100% by the Albanian Investment Corporation. The administrator of this company will be Julian Adili, who currently holds the position of Director of the Legal and Compliance Division at the Albanian Investment Corporation.

Donald Trump's son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner, received Strategic Investor status last year in a decision dated December 30, 2024. According to the decision, the investment in the island by the company associated with Donald Trump's son-in-law is worth 1.4 billion euros and the construction is expected to extend to 8 percent of the island or an area of ​​45 hectares. The project is expected to employ over a thousand people.
