After sunny days, the country has been hit by bad weather today with rainfall, low temperatures, and snowfall in mountainous areas.

Snowfall covered the territory of the Pukë and Fushë Arrëz municipalities this Friday morning, as temperatures dropped to 0 degrees Celsius.

The continued rainfall has caused slippery terrain on the city's roads, while on national roads, salting of the roads was carried out in a timely manner and traffic continues normally.

Even rural road segments are currently passable, while the thickness of the snow is expected to create problems mainly on the Kryezi-Iballes road axis, where the thickness of the snow at Qafë e Shar has exceeded 20 cm.

Snowfall has covered the city of Shkodra and surrounding areas this morning, while there are no blocked road axes and traffic is moving normally.

Meanwhile, the National Road, in both directions of the Kukës - Kalimash Tunnel, is facing heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds, which makes traffic more difficult.
