Several people arrested in Tirana for domestic violence, fraud and theft

Police have arrested several people for various criminal offenses in Tirana.

A 50-year-old man has been arrested after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 1 year in prison for the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence".

A 29-year-old man was arrested after stealing a person's vehicle.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated against a 23-year-old man after pyrotechnics were found on him. Proceedings have also been initiated against a 36-year-old man, as it is suspected that, through fraud, he took money from a 39-year-old woman and, when the latter requested the money back, threatened her.

Police notification

Cybercrime Investigation Specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for the following citizens:
• MS, as it is suspected that she opened a fake profile in the name of a citizen;
• MH, as it is suspected that, through a fake profile, she distributed the personal number of a citizen.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 1:
• arrested and detained citizen FM, 50 years old, after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 1 year in prison for the criminal offense of “Domestic Violence”;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for citizen HA, as it is suspected that, for weak motives, he punched citizen DM;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for citizen Xh. B., as it is suspected that, for weak motives, he punched citizen ER;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for citizen AD, as it is suspected that, for weak motives, he threatened his cohabitant, violating the Court’s decision;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for citizen ST, 23 years old, after pyrotechnics were found on him;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for a minor citizen, after two cutting tools were found on him.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 2 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizens:
• AN and ED, as it is suspected that, for weak motives, they physically conflicted with each other;
• AR, as it is suspected that, for weak motives, he punched his brother.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 3:
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen SI, as it is suspected that, for weak motives, he punched citizen AB;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen BN, as he did not obey the order of the police officer to move the vehicle, which he had parked illegally;
• work is underway to capture citizen AN, as he is suspected of having stolen a large amount of money from an apartment.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 5:
• arrested citizen SK, 29 years old, after stealing the vehicle of citizen ED, who had temporarily left the vehicle running. After the theft, the 29-year-old had an accident with the vehicle and verifications showed that he was not equipped with a driving license;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen GL, after pyrotechnics were found in his possession, contrary to the law;
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen BP, 36 years old, after it is suspected that, through fraud that he would buy her an apartment, he took a sum of money from a 39-year-old woman and, when the latter requested the return of the money, he threatened her.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 6 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and are working to escort citizen MM, as he is suspected of threatening two citizens. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
