Accident on the Lezhë-Shkodra axis, victims identified

A serious accident occurred on the Lezhë-Shkodra axis this morning.

Two people died and two others were injured in a violent collision between two vehicles near the village of Gocaj, a woman and a child.

The two victims are a married couple from Puka, where the husband has been identified as Petrit Florini, a police officer.

Firefighters intervened to remove the bodies, who were then taken away by ambulance. Police and the investigation team are at the scene to determine the causes of this accident.

This is the second fatal accident this year, after a tragic accident occurred in the early hours of yesterday on the Gjirokastër-Tepelena axis, at the location called "Bypass".

Three people, Klejdi Myftari, 24 years old, Anxhelo Ruçi, 27 years old, and Martin Dulaj, 25 years old, lost their lives in the collision between two vehicles. Dulaj's fiancée, Arsida Demiri, 19 years old, was injured and transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana and is in serious condition.
