Socialist MP Erion Braçe has made an appeal to parents who are skeptical about vaccinating their children, referring to theories circulating that they could cause problems.

He shared the cases of two children in the pediatrics department of the QSUT, who have been in a difficult condition for days, one of whom has tested positive for measles. What is worrying, says the MP, is that the child who tested positive for measles, even though he is three years old, was stopped from getting vaccinated since he was six months old.

According to him, this is not an isolated case but a broader one and comes from hypotheses that are often articulated on screen by certain characters who are not in the field.

The MP argues that parents should listen to doctors and vaccinate their children, because by not doing so, they are actually harming their children.

"Something is happening with the children that seems very serious to me. I am following two cases in pediatrics. Difficult for 10 days, high fever and other health concerns. You know what I learned that one of the children had measles. There is a vaccine for this. So is the other one. While the doctors who are following them say that even though they are only 3 years old, one of the children has completed the vaccination schedule in the first 6 months of life. The parents have not taken them to follow the vaccination schedule since they were 6 months old, measles is fought through the vaccine.

Its absence has caused this situation and consequences. The animals that appear in online and TV media and speak without a point of responsibility and knowledge and understanding about vaccines and vaccination are killing your children, they are harming your children. They are leaving them with serious consequences. The vaccination calendar has saved countless lives and has protected children and entire generations. Don't listen to the idiots, but to the doctors. The idiots are harming your children. Implement the vaccination calendar. In the end, do you even realize how much you are spending now. A free vaccine for your children", said the MP.
