Around 28,000 high school graduates will take the first compulsory exam this Wednesday, in Mathematics.
The exam will start at 10:00 and end at 12:30.
The exams mark an important stage in the education of students as they prepare to begin their second-level studies.
On June 30, ninth grade students will take the third and final exam, the Foreign Language exam.
The foreign language exam can be in English, French, Italian or German, in accordance with the language, which in the lower secondary education curriculum is treated as a mandatory foreign language at language level A2.
