The head of the Urban Transport Association, Dashnor Memaj, said during an interview that there is a possibility that the price of the urban transport ticket from the existing price of 40 Lek, will go up to 60-70 Lek.

He says that they have an analysis of the cost of transportation, but they have never sat down with the institutions to talk about how much they earn in relation to the costs that this sector spends.

"The recognition of the license directly in European Union countries such as Germany has had an impact and the incentive has come after the drivers have seen each other, one runs away and the other takes the other. If 4-5 years ago we had 10 requests today for 10 jobs, only one application can come," said Memaj.
