Gentian Mullai, the spokesperson of the State Police, admitted for the first time in a TV show that the information given that the weapon found at the scene belonged to Klodian Rasha was wrong.
Mullai said that the information given was based on the data received from the police officer who was at the scene.
According to Mullai, the weapon was found, but the mistake of the State Police was that it invoiced the ownership to the deceased Rasha without making the necessary verifications.
" Regarding the serious incident where Klodian Rasha lost his life, the State Police has provided 2 pieces of information. Preliminary information at the time the event occurred, 30 minutes later, collected from the first information at the scene as for any other event. Information collected by Police officers at the scene. Police officers have told us that it happened 'so, so' and we have given notice. A few hours later, during the inspection of the scene, a firearm was found. The police have issued a notification that a firearm has been found. The only mistake we made is that the weapon belonged to the late Klodian Rasha. But we gave this information based on the preliminary information we received from the Police officer ," said Mullai.
Klodian Rasha was killed by policeman Nevaldo Hajdaraj on the morning of December 8, 2020 in front of his apartment.
At that time there were accusations that the State Police manipulated the event.
Accusations to which Gentian Mullai responded for the first time.
